
Consultant or Senior Consultant - Forensic and Integrity Services - Forensic Data Analytics

- Use market leading advanced data analytic tools to generate insights to support fraud investigations, disputes, and regulatory compliance challenges for our clients, across a range of industries.
- Work with the broader Forensics team and consult with stakeholders; develop forensic procedures and define measurable data metrics and design investigative analysis.
- Extract, validate, transform and load high-volume structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources (including ERP and accounting systems) for deeper analysis.
- Develop algorithms, data mining, and data analytic solutions to assist our clients with detection of fraud, bribery and corruption; irregular financial transactions; anomalous employee behaviour; and to target error and waste in their operations.
- Support senior team members in the preparation and presentation of client deliverables, including using a suite of visualisation software to clearly present the benefits of the analysis to clients.
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, using our analytics to transform and improve our clients' businesses.
- Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language and effectively collaborate with members of cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills; and the ability to clearly and concisely present data, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Proficiency and professional experience with data manipulation languages such as SQL, and statistical techniques (regression, clustering etc.) and analytical and modelling tools such as Alteryx, Python, R or similar packages.
- Ability to hypothesise, analyse and draw conclusions from financial and operational data.
- Academic or professional experience in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics).
- Familiarity with data visualisation software such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
- Understanding of Azure/AWS cloud computing platforms, commercial relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and enterprise software solutions.
- Understanding of algorithms (Machine learning, pattern recognition, NLP etc.) and big data technologies such as Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop.
- Working knowledge of financial processes other business processes (e.g., regulatory reporting).
