
Internal Communications Specialist (6-month contract)

- Design and implement a firm-wide internal communications strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
- Review current state of internal communications, including stakeholder engagement and feedback looking at areas of improvement and opportunity.
- Assess existing communication channels for accessibility, purpose, usage, and effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements for each channel to enhance clarity, consistency, and impact.
- Develop a roadmap from current to future state, including tools, processes, and governance.
- Define and refine key messages to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and refine colleague feedback loops to ensure every voice is heard and valued.
- Identify new opportunities and innovative approaches to streamline and enhance internal communications.
- Define success metrics and reporting frameworks to measure impact and effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for sustaining excellence in communications beyond the contract period.
- Maintains cyber security at all times. Cultivate an awareness of security risks, stay informed of latest cyber threats, instil best cybersecurity practises and take practical steps to protect the firm and client from cyberattacks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate organisational goals into compelling internal messaging.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess and optimise communication channels for impact and accessibility.
- Skilled in developing feedback mechanisms and fostering two-way communication.
- Analytical skills to define success metrics and evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or change communications.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-wide communication strategies.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with communication tools, platforms, and analytics.
