Contract Administrator

• Assist Senior Contracts Administrator in budget development and upload to cost control system
• Develop procurement schedules, tender scopes, and administer subcontracts
• Understand Head Contract documents and identify risks/opportunities
• Implement and maintain project cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting systems
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims, process payments, create purchase orders, handle invoices, and assist in reporting
• Collaborate on project plans with SEQ Manager to meet contract and corporate obligations
• Ensure subcontractors and suppliers understand and meet safety requirements prior to engagement

• Knowledgeable in construction materials, processes, and methodologies
• Demonstrated expertise in contracts and commercial matters
• Strong computer skills, adaptable to new software
• Meticulous and thorough work ethic
• Effective communication skills for positive outcomes with stakeholders
• Minimum 5 years in contract administration
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building Construction, Project Management or Quantity Surveying
