The Directorate’s services include:
provide assurance to the Director General and the Audit and Risk Committee that the Department's financial and operational controls are operating in an efficient, effective, economical and ethical manner
assist management in improving the Department's business performance
provide a risk advisory function with its focus on assisting staff to manage risks effectively
undertake a governance function for the Department’s externally available policies and delegations.
The RoleAs an Administration Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Risk and Assurance Directorate. Working closely with the Director and team members, you will assist with scheduling, document preparation, record management, taking accurate minutes, financial processing, and responding to internal and external enquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner.You will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of initiatives across risk management, internal audit, business continuity, and policy governance by preparing documentation, monitoring compliance processes, and ensuring accurate and timely information flow across the Directorate.Our ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented administrative professional with strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
