We can’t do this without you, our valuable team of over 1,400 Educators.You will enjoy the benefits of being part of a network of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services in South East Queensland and part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane.About the OpportunityA unique opportunity to grow your leadership skills across a variety of service sizes and locations on the Gold Coast.The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn the CEEC way by working closely with one of our high-performing service leaders before commencing as a full-time, permanent Relief Coordinator supporting our OSHC Services on the Gold Coast.CEEC operates 9 OSHC services and 2 Hubs between Currumbin and Upper Coomera, as well as services in the Logan area (depending on your location).This role would commence with a 6-week placement between St Kevins OSHC - Benowa (75 place) and Guardian Angels OSHC Ashmore (165 place) supporting their teams during Coordinator leave.Following this placement, you will support and mentor other local services, working closely with the Portfolio (Area) Manager.Opportunities for a permanent placement will be available for the right applicant should a position become available.Our Centre
We provide before school care, after school care, vacation care for up to 165 children (large service) whilst striving to meet the needs of each child and family every day. Guardian Angels Outside School Hours Care has been providing care for children in the community for over 15 years.The school has two dedicated OSHC spaces and the use of the school facilities.The team is dedicated and consistent which also includes two Assistant Coordinators supporting you.The Benefits

A competitive hourly rate of $40.33 - $41.19 depending on qualifications and experience plus split shift and uniform allowances

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Children Services or equivalent
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
Effective computer skills including experience with child care management software (Xplor preferred)
Proven leadership and team development skills
