Based in Wollongong, hybrid working

Undertake media enquiries, manage and support adoption and use media, social media, grants, branding and communications advice for this NSW Government Agency.About the role:

Develop and implement communication strategies, plans, media campaigns and events.
Undertake the writing, editing and publishing of various items such as media releases, talking points, speeches, newsletters, web content and social media posts.
Deal with the media during a diverse range of operational events while also providing accurate, prompt advice.
Maintain current knowledge of new and emerging media and communications technologies

About you:

Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
Experience in media, public relations, or journalism
Strong experience in writing, specifically media releases.
