The role involves negotiating and finalising commercial agreements, developing procurement strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with broader organisational objectives. The Specialist will also provide governance support to ensure adherence to procurement policies, identify efficiency opportunities, and promote vendor consolidation. Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering savings targets, managing commercial risks, addressing disputes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key to the role is the ability to influence change, optimise vendor relationships, and manage complex procurement tasks while balancing timelines and priorities. Regular collaboration with internal teams including Legal, Risk, and Finance is essential to achieve strong commercial outcomes.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in IT procurement, with a strong understanding of sourcing requirements in the technology space.
