This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a team of engineers, shape our cloud strategy, and collaborate across the business to deliver secure, scalable solutions.Why this role?

Own the engineering of Viva Group’s Azure cloud platform
Lead a high-performing team and mentor engineers
Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders across enterprise-scale environments
Deliver innovative cloud solutions that support critical national infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement resilient, secure cloud architectures on Azure
Manage compute resources, containers, and serverless services
Drive cloud integration with on-prem and external platforms
Lead automation and DevOps practices using IaC tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps
Optimize performance and cost across cloud services
Define and deliver a strategic roadmap aligned with business goals
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

8+ years in cloud engineering or technical leadership across hybrid enterprise environments
Deep expertise in Azure (bonus: AWS, GCP), infrastructure, and automation
Strong experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
Skilled in scripting (PowerShell, Python), cloud security, and performance tuning
Proven ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and deliver complex cloud solutions
Retail experience is a plus
