We are building a team that brings diverse perspectives to the table and we empower our people to make a real difference in the workplace — and the world.Join us as we pave the way toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable world.About the RoleThis newly-created position offers an Electronics Engineer with proven and extensive product development experience the opportunity to join a high-performance and collaborative team and further Relectrify's strong research & development culture.You will be responsible for development of electronic circuits and systems for next-generation battery storage technology, contributing to the creation and administration of inventions and intellectual property, and authoring technical documentation as well as reviewing documentation developed by other team members.In this role you can expect to:
  • Deliver electronic systems meeting schedules and BOM cost targets
  • Release design documentation, including requirements and engineering reports
  • Hold informal design reviews and resolve technical issues with input from the team
  • Push/pull information from the cross-functional team to help deliver systems and ensure delivery against Relectrify's product roadmap
The Electronics Engineer (R&D) will be encouraged to gather and share knowledge of emerging technologies, coach and mentor developing engineers, and help encourage contributions to inventions and intellectual property projects.RequirementsEssential Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Masters/PhD of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in electronic product development
  • Highly skilled in circuit schematic/layout
  • Demonstrable experience applying first principles to solve unique problems and manage technical risk
Highly Desirable:
  • A background in power electronics, systems engineering, or control systems
  • Experience working with patents
  • Experience in FMEA, JSA
