A fully equipped camp is located 40km from the site offering leisure facilities for those flying in from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin.Join us and unearth your potential in a global company that is at the forefront of shaping the future of the mining industry.Are you ready to take your underground mining expertise to the next level?Newmont is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler – Mine Development to join our high-performing team at Tanami.In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth execution of our underground mine development plans — from daily priorities to annual targets. By coordinating schedules and collaborating with key stakeholders, you’ll ensure critical activities are delivered on time, every time.Working on a roster opposite the Development Superintendent, you’ll provide operational continuity, maintain momentum, and identify opportunities to exceed expectations through precise planning, controlled execution, and continuous improvement.In This Role, You Will

Coordinate mine development schedules in line with operational priorities
Liaise with mining, maintenance, and technical teams for seamless plan execution
Provide operational coverage for the Development Superintendent during rostered leave
Monitor performance, address variances, and implement improvement initiatives
Spend time underground validating inputs and ensuring compliance with the plan

What We’re Looking For

Proven underground mining experience, including frontline development supervision
Strong understanding of mine planning and scheduling in large-scale operations
Proficiency in mine planning and scheduling systems (Pitram experience desirable)
Diploma in Metalliferous Mining or equivalent qualification
Ability to influence, problem-solve, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
