Become our next Apprentice Fabricator!As an Apprentice Fabricator, you will support the Workshop and Fleet team and gain practical skills in fabrication and welding activities and positively contribute to the delivery of the objectives of the Works and Services Business Unit. This position is based at our Oak Flats Services Depot and will report to the Fabrication Coordinator.You will complete a Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication course at North Wollongong TAFE. You will gain and develop practical knowledge and skills in welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using tools and machinery in a hands-on workshop environment. This opportunity is open to school leavers, mature age applicants and/or those who have already commenced their Certificate III in Engineering.Please note: This opportunity is dependent upon external funding confirmation. Temporary Full time up to 4 years (or for the duration of the apprenticeship)
38 hours per week with access to a 9 Day-fortnight
Salary range from $601.70 per week (for a 16 year old) up to $827.40 per week (for someone aged 18 and over)
Plus 12% superannuation
