An opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Mental Health Clinician to join the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) in Weipa, QLD. The role will focus on delivering community-based Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), working closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist assessment, treatment, and support.Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (CNC level)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Community CYMHS (essential)
- CIMHA experience (highly desirable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (highly desirable)
- Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a regional team
