As an Accounting Manager, you will supervise, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.MAIN ACTIVITIES
  • Day to day management of accounting team, providing training, support, and mentorship.
  • Keep abreast of new accounting standards and applying any relevant changes to the business.
  • Month end work in the form of journal entries, review of staff work, review of P&Ls providing commentary where needed.
  • Review and Approve balance sheet reconciliations demonstrating a sound understanding of accounting issues and risks.
  • Provide support to DMS Asia Businesses (Philippines).
  • Manage the internal and external audit processes acting as a key correspondent between various stakeholders.
  • Completion of Statutory Reporting and Yearly Financial Statements for both Australian and international businesses.
  • Completion and coordination of quarterly and half yearly reporting.
  • JSOX audit and compliance (Japanese Sarbanes Oxley).
  • Creation of accounting guidebooks and policies where applicable.
  • Financial Reporting to all levels.
  • Liaising with FUJIFILM Head Office as applicable (Singapore, Japan).
  • Management of Intercompany Reporting.
THE CANDIDATEYou will be working in a supportive team with different levels of experience to learn from.Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
  • The ability to develop relationships with key decision makers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Ability to analyse and communicate financial information.
  • Good customer service focus.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in accounting.
  • Postgraduate (CPA/CA) qualification.
  • Previous Audit experience is desirable.
