About this roleBased in Launceston, an exciting opportunity exists for a sonographer to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be working between a total of three clinics within the Launceston cluster – St Luke's Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital and Jimmy's complex.The RoleYour new role will provide you with the ability to be able to explore different towns and work in clinics with an interesting mix of cases. You will have the opportunity to work in a private clinic as well as the public hospital with a team of experienced sonographers.You will have the option of flexible hours, access to a wide range of career development opportunities, and of course a rewarding remuneration package.This role is open to full-time, part-time or contract arrangement. The role will be working from is Monday to Friday, working 7.6 hour shifts between 8am – 6:00pm, with optional weekend work and overtime.What we can offer you:

Key responsibilities:
  • Delivering high quality, accurate and efficient ultrasound services
  • Working together with doctors, technicians and clinic staff to ensure smooth, seamless patient care
  • Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
What we're looking for:
  • Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Previous experience in sonography in a busy clinic or hospital environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
  • Experience using Canon equipment desirable
  • Recently qualified sonographers will be considered for this position
