We are insolvency and turnaround teams, who help both companies and individuals to recover from difficult business or personal financial situations and assist the creditors attached to these matters.When this can’t be achieved, we help wind down operations or manage personal insolvency procedures, and recover secured debts for creditors with expert knowledge, delivered with thought and care.The RoleWorrells is looking for a Business Analyst to join the growing Melbourne team. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly on a range of interesting and challenging corporate and personal insolvency engagements. We will provide you with relevant professional training and our close-knit team-based structure will give you the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of your colleagues. You will get hands-on experience working with a variety of stakeholders across a range of industries.In this role you will be working closely with some of Australia’s leading industry experts on complex files. Some of your responsibilities are:Running and coordinating the day-too-day administrative duties of the firm.
  • Delivering a broad range of insolvency tasks to a high standard, in line with our protocols and values
  • Learning and applying your technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision.

Experience:
  • Insolvency: 1 year (Preferred)

  • You will be a proactive, ambitious, and talented Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst with:
  • A degree in Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in insolvency or accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
