- Collaborating with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager to implement the Service Sales Strategy. Developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline and promoting ABB Service options and solutions to benefit our customer and ABB
- Selling products/upgrades/life cycle services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability target for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. Meeting KPI’s set to achieve both our personal and business targets
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships understanding customer needs, promote the full product/upgrade solutions/service offering, and aligning ourselves with the customer to provide a solution
- Attending meetings, webinars and completing internal trainings to understand our ABB Robotic Service portfolio. Using this knowledge to offer technical value-based solutions to customers where required and a synergy of ABB Service products for our customer needs
- Understanding queries, objections and negotiating with industry knowledge to position ABB for positive outcomes
- Being responsible for reporting all your activities in a transparent manner. This is to ensure these can be analyzed by others as required. Maintaining visit reports, lead opportunities and sales pipeline via SFDC, is vital to ensure a cohesive sale team
- A Tertiary Engineering Graduate in a relevant field-Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- More than 3 years of experience in similar Service Sales role
- Value Based Selling experience would be beneficial
- Robotic experience will be highly regarded
- A proven history of positive Service Sales outcomes with a “can do” attitude
- A sound knowledge of SAP, SFDC and Microsoft Office suites is required
- Good Communication Skills
