AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN A FAST PACED BEST PRACTICE FLEET & LOGISTICS BRANCHAbout the position:An exciting opportunity has opened within our Fleet and Logistics Team for an enthusiastic and motivated Fleet Maintenance Scheduler. The Fleet Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for development of the maintenance plan and bringing together all the resources and materials needed, so that the trades team can complete servicing and repairs in an effective and efficient manner. Duties include developing and continually improve the maintenance plan, scheduling the servicing repairs and upgrades for all Council fleet, assisting in developing the Fleet Maintenance budget, planning and scheduling the annual inspection program, and other duties as assigned.If this sounds like you and you would like to join our fantastic team, please apply today!About the Fleet and Logistics Team:The Fleet and Logistics Branch provides fleet asset management, logistic support, fleet maintenance and metal fabrication services to the whole of Council. The Fleet and Logistics Branch manages every step of the fleet asset lifecycle - planning, procurement, maintenance and repairs, disposal.Benefits of working at Council:

How to be successful in this position:
  • Certificate III in Business Administration (Highly Desirable).
  • Certificate III in relevant trade (Highly Desirable).
  • Current unrestricted ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Certificate in Trade qualification is desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fleet maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems (CBMMS).
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
