The Job
- As an ED registrar, you will have unrivalled exposure to Emergency Medicine (including procedures) within a fully supervised department
- You will join a team of specialist emergency physicians, senior medical practitioners, registrars, residents, and interns
- Twenty-four months ACEM training ED time - accredited for 10 trainees
- Accredited for ACEM PLB/PER
- Accredited (and highly rated) training rotations to anaesthetics and foundation Intensive Care Unit
- Medical education and simulation SSP
- Hands-on care for all patients
- Education: Protected multi-modal departmental education, grand rounds, in situ sim, code blue sim and more
- Exam preparation training—protected time (Primary and Fellowship Exam) - with a proven track record of success
- Full access to exam and study leave
- Access to the ACEM EM Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma
- Rural Generalist Training with accreditation with RACGP and ACRRM for both core and advanced training
- Opportunity to assist with medical transfers on the Rescue Helicopter
- Salary from $139,932 to $186,790

- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with minimum Level 2 supervision requirements, OR eligibility for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway

- Must have a minimum of six months experience in Critical Care Medicine (Emergency; Acute Medicine; Intensive Care Unit or Anaesthetics
