Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
  • Participate in professional and personal development
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Whether youu0027re studying, returning to the workforce, or just enjoy working with kids — we’d love to meet you!Job Requirements:
  • Either enrolled in or completed a Cert III or Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) would be beneficial.
  • Previous childcare experience would be beneficial.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
