- Managing project teams as well as providing support to the Program Manager
- Managing Project Costs as well as being accountable for the project budget including reporting.
- Managing project schedules as well as develop and manage project timelines and deliverables including reporting.
- Managing project contracts as well as procurement and subcontracts in consultation with Northrop Grumman contracts/subcontracts team.
- Managing project stakeholders in reference to influencing project direction and outcomes through ongoing engagement with stakeholders (internal and customer) and other project SMEs.
- Managing project plans in relation to preparing thorough project plans.
- Managing project governance
- Project team leadership as required
- Ensuring that the project is delivered within time, cost, quality and resource constraints.
- Project risk management.
- Project Change Management in accordance with NGA procedures
- As the Senior Project Manager, you will have an eye for detail and have a strong work ethic. You will also have:
- Competencies in Project Management in accordance with AIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPSPM)
- Proven experience in managing high scale/complex projects, or multiple projects concurrently.
- Ideally experience in managing projects in a Defence environment although not essential
- 5 years or more experience in Project Management demonstrating Advanced Project Management Skills, Organisational Change, Business Acumen and Mentoring/Coaching
- Engineering or Technical qualification in a related field
- Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project Management
- AIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Practitioner (CPSPM)
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
