The projects that you will lead will primarily be focused on the incorporation of changes to various aviation engineering projects.You will also have accountability for:
  • Managing project teams as well as providing support to the Program Manager
  • Managing Project Costs as well as being accountable for the project budget including reporting.
  • Managing project schedules as well as develop and manage project timelines and deliverables including reporting.
  • Managing project contracts as well as procurement and subcontracts in consultation with Northrop Grumman contracts/subcontracts team.
  • Managing project stakeholders in reference to influencing project direction and outcomes through ongoing engagement with stakeholders (internal and customer) and other project SMEs.
  • Managing project plans in relation to preparing thorough project plans.
  • Managing project governance
  • Project team leadership as required
  • Ensuring that the project is delivered within time, cost, quality and resource constraints.
  • Project risk management.
  • Project Change Management in accordance with NGA procedures
About You:
  • As the Senior Project Manager, you will have an eye for detail and have a strong work ethic. You will also have:
  • Competencies in Project Management in accordance with AIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPSPM)
  • Proven experience in managing high scale/complex projects, or multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ideally experience in managing projects in a Defence environment although not essential
  • 5 years or more experience in Project Management demonstrating Advanced Project Management Skills, Organisational Change, Business Acumen and Mentoring/Coaching
  • Engineering or Technical qualification in a related field
  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project Management
  • AIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Practitioner (CPSPM)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
