The OrganisationYou will work at the region's major rural referral centre and acute care hospital. Servicing about 15% of NSW and a population of approximately 160,000, the hospital has specialty units in areas including acute renal dialysis, coronary care, diabetes, emergency, intensive care, obstetrics, oncology, paediatrics, psychiatry and alcohol and drug treatmentThis healthcare facility offers world-class healthcare, a work environment and training facilities across all levels. Each year the 760-strong team at the hospital looks after 35,000 in Emergency, and 26,333 in a hospital bed, performs 9325 surgeries and assists 1233 babies to be born.With a hospital redevelopment completed in 2021, you can work with the most up-to-date technology in bright welcoming clinician-designed workspaces.
The Job

As a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will provide contemporary comprehensive specialist services in a dynamic multidisciplinary team
The O&G department offers a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services, from routine prenatal care to complex surgical procedures
As a Consultant of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will undertake supervision and education of junior medical and other relevant staff
You will participate in continuing education, research and quality improvement programs
Actively participate in the shared on-call roster

Base salary from $179,078 - $220,986 pa
