Depending on the specific role, your responsibilities may include:
- Managing end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing to contract award.
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Drafting and managing tenders and other procurement documentation.
- Negotiating and administering contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with government policies and procurement guidelines.
- Managing supplier relationships and performance.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a procurement or contract management role within SA Government or a Local Council.
- A strong understanding of public sector procurement principles and policies.
- Proven experience in tender evaluation and analysis.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in procurement, business, or a related field are highly regarded.
