ACCIONA Energía is governed by the most demanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.As a Site Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our MacIntyre Wind Farm. You'll be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, contributing to the overall success of our renewable energy projects.Job Description
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on BOP infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team and contribute to decision-making.
  • Conduct HV & Substation inspections and repairs, civil infrastructure maintenance, and WTG inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Supervise contractors and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide accurate reporting, enter data into maintenance management systems, and assist in project planning.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Appropriate Trade Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical Disciplines, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-trade qualifications experience.
  • Valid QLD "A Grade" Electrical License (beneficial).
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
  • Current driver's license for manual vehicles.
  • Capacity to travel to various Wind Farms across Australia.
  • In compliance with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act 2018, this role is defined as critical worker and labelled at ACCIONA Energia as a Privileged Access Worker (PAW).
  • Privileged Access Workers (PAW's) are required to obtain satisfactory results from Acciona's Suitability Assessment prior to commencement, this forms part of our standard pre-employment checks.
