Assisting with civil and road construction tasks
Operating safely around traffic and work zones
Following site safety procedures and teamwork practices
What We’re Looking For Required:
Valid Driver’s Licence
Traffic control licence (or willingness to obtain an Implement Traffic Control ticket within the first month (paid at Grade 1 until achieved, then Grade 3 thereafter)
Preferred:
Truck licence
Plant operation tickets
Previous experience in civil or road construction
Working Conditions
Standard 76-hour, 9-day fortnight schedule
Most Rostered Days Off (RDOs) are every second Monday (subject to change around holidays)
Occasional Living Away from Home (LAFH), usually no more than two weeks at a time, for fatigue management (common travel south of Parkes or west of Trangie)
