- Plan and execute the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and retail locations.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, tracking information, and customs documentation.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to resolve shipping issues and delays promptly.
- Monitor and manage freight costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
- Evaluate and negotiate freight rates with carriers and logistics providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in international freight forwarding within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
