You will be a key member of the team where you will gain a wide variety of experience in civil drafting and design to enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise.The Opportunity
- Encouraged to embark on defined tasks or projects under guidance from senior members of staff.
- Empowered to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines, providing you with the autonomy to excel.
- Presenting information in an articulate and organised manner, following Arup’s established processes and procedures.
- Embark on drafting tasks tailored to meet client requirements for various civil infrastructure design projects, offering invaluable on-the-job learning experiences.
- Utilise a combination of standard and innovative drafting methods and techniques, including the use of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD), to solve challenges and achieve outstanding project outcomes.

- Achieved, or working towards, relevant qualifications in Drafting or Engineering, such as an Advanced Diploma.
- Relevant industry experience in Civil Drafting / Designing within a consulting business environment would be beneficial.
- Experience in the operation of design software such as AutoCAD 2d/3d and /or MicroStation would be advantageous.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
