Senior Paralegal - InsuranceInsurance | Brisbane MetropolitanClosing date: 22/04/2024An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced paralegal to join our highly respected insurance team. This role is offered on a full-time basis.Exposure to workers compensation, insurance litigation and CTP will be highly regarded. This role is open to candidates with both plaintiff or defendant experience.You will become part of an ambitious and energic team working with some of the firm’s largest clients.Your responsibilities will include:

Provide claims management support to insurance authors
Preparing doctors’ letters, briefs to counsel, court documents and reports to clients
Assist with trial preparation
Conduct discovery processes
Manage and prioritise multiple files
Drafting summaries of evidence
Drafting advices to clients to be settled by senior authors

Essential Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience
Excellent attention to detail, and skills in prioritisation and time management
Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
Strong work ethic and positive mindset
A team player mindset, and desire to work collaboratively with the existing team
