These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about student wellbeing, cultural diversity and community building.Our Security Officers play a key part in ensuring students feel welcome, supported, and safe in their living environment. This role is about pastoral care, student engagement, and wellbeing support.You will be part of a team that provides calm, capable and compassionate support to students from diverse local and international backgrounds. Your work will involve engaging with students, supporting wellbeing, monitoring the environment, and liaising with site partners and university services.We are seeking individuals open to working overnight shifts on casual basis.Key Responsibilities of the Role

Building rapport with students through positive, friendly engagement
Providing after-hours support and responding to wellbeing concerns
Conducting presence-based walkthroughs (not enforcement or surveillance)
Assisting with student lockouts, enquiries, or amenity access
Coordinating with on-call emergency or security services where needed
Logging incidents and updates in reporting systems
Supporting the delivery of engagement and community-building initiatives
Liaising with university staff and residential life teams
Light administrative and concierge-style responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in Allied Health, Education, Community Services, Multicultural Support, or Student Accommodation is highly valued
TAS Security License
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Current Working with Vulnerable People Check
