- Supervising 3 staff across HR and payroll
- Manage daily HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, and learning and development activities
- Provide expert advice on workplace legislation, industrial relations, and organisational change processes
- Support leaders and staff through employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues
- Represent the organisation in meetings and provide accurate, timely reporting as required
- Build strong working relationships with supervisors to support positive outcomes for staff and business units
- Contribute to audits, reviews, and improvements within HR systems and processes
- Operational HR experience, including payroll
- Strong knowledge of awards, legislation, and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Local Government experience (desirable)
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to live and work in a regional location
