Facilities Maintenance Officer
South-West Sydney,
Up to $43 per hour + Super6-12-month contract with potential extensionI'm working with a leading local council to recruit a Buildings Maintenance Officer to join their Maintenance Planning team. This role will see you out on the ground across the LGA, making sure community facilities and buildings are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.The Role

Carry out inspections of buildings, facilities, and playgrounds to identify defects.
Raise work requests and follow up on maintenance rectifications.
Inspect essential services and support contractors on site.
Handle customer requests/complaints and provide quick resolutions.
Undertake minor hands-on maintenance works where required.
Use mobile technology to record inspection data.

What You'll Need

Trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or similar).
Strong experience in building/facility inspections and defect reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
White Card and current driver's licence essential.
