We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for customer service to support our department in delivering integrated, supportive, person centred care to our patients.Palliative Care offers sensitive and compassionate medical and supportive care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and carers. The Palliative Care team are drawn from a variety of health disciplines including medical specialists, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, and volunteers.Whilst the position is within the Palliative Care Department, the role sits within the Ambulatory Care Business Unit, which manages the centralised workforce structure for all Ambulatory Care administrative staff across RPAH.For more information, please view the .Ideal Candidate
- Ability to work to support a Head of Department, independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in an administrative setting with established high level computer literacy and typing skills, including experience with dictaphone transcribing equipment or software, with a minimum typing speed of 60wpm.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing.
