APS6 CoDesign & Engagement Project Officer

Community & Stakeholder Engagement
12 Month Contract, Federal Government

Supporting all Agency policies, processes or initiatives that require a co-design approach and/or interface with community, mainstream and sector stakeholders, the branch provides advice and operational support when engaging with sector stakeholders and the disability community and is responsible for managing events and activities logistics for all Agency engagement.The Co-design Delivery Team works collaboratively across the Agency, the sector and with participants to ensure disability community perspectives on issues facing the Agency are represented. Through designing, delivering, and facilitating engagement, including co-design, we put people with disability at the centre of our work and make sure they have a say.Key Accountabilities include:

Coordinating critical data analysis and feedback to measure effectiveness of activities and strategies, including identifying associated risks and trends.
Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of targeted engagement strategies and alignment to the broader engagement strategy and frameworks, with branch and divisional business plans.
Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the Agency’s participation in a diverse range of engagement activities and events, including stakeholder meetings, information sessions, forums, conferences and webinars.
Contributing to the implementation and operationalisation of a targeted, proactive engagement strategy, including a forward planned events calendar, aligned to the corporate plan, broader Agency Engagement Strategy and with branch and divisional business plans.

Ideally you will possess:

Exceptional continuous improvement capability to identify opportunities, generate ideas and implement solutions.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to ensure stakeholders (internal and external) needs are met and to ensure productive relationships and stakeholder satisfaction.
Supporting and coaching individuals in the team to develop trust, maximise knowledge and skills to ensure a commitment to the action plan for successful performance outcomes.
