Operating across the future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities.About the RoleAn opportunity has become available for an Electrical Project Engineer in Wollongong for Downer's Industrial Energy business unit reporting directly to the Construction Manager. Day to day dealings will see the successful candidate, lead, and plan the operations of the allocated contract, ensuring contract requirements are met and in line with the Strategic Relationship Charter. Lead and support the execution team for successful contract delivery in accordance with clients' expectations safety, quality, time, and cost objectives. Tertiary qualified in an engineering discipline - preferably electrical with a strong focus in electrical projects and maintenance
Experience within maintenance, shutdowns, and projects
Interface with business leaders and understand their strategic objectives with ease
The ability to prepare detailed plans identifying sequencing of works, methodologies and work packages required by the contract / statutes
Provide commitment and support to ensure all aspects of the contract management plan. Asset management plan, construction management plan, commissioning management plan and compliance systems are implemented
Successfully monitor planning and progress of the contract to ensure productivity, quality, and cost objectives are adhered to
Confidently maintain and promote Downer's Power & Energy Journey to Zero Harm
