about the roleWe are looking for a highly experienced ‘New Business’ Development professional with experience in winning new logos, with a focus on new wave of digital services, centred around next generation Network & Telecommunications (including SDWAN and SSE, SASE solutions) Unified Communications & Collaboration, Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Cloud services and solutions, Security Managed Services and new generation Business and Technology Transformation.This is an exciting opportunity for the right type of assertive "hunter", who has an existing network and can demonstrate their ability at building relationships based on trust and successfully converting this into good business for the company. The sole scope of this role will focus on pursuing new business on a specific pre-agreed list of target accounts, working with support of a local team and an extended regional and global support SME’s.about you
  • Possesses minimum 8 years of strong sales experience providing clear evidence of results in winning new logos
  • Maturity in managing a large TCV sales pipeline, managing complex pursuits and closing deals whilst retaining positive relationships
  • An existing network of contacts to allow you to jump-start your pursuits
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing new logos: Must demonstrate success in achieving sales targets and closing deals with large enterprises in Australia
  • Effective negotiation and deal structuring skills: Will demonstrate achievement/s in win-win agreements aligned with both supplier/partner and (new logo) customer's objectives
  • Expertise in crafting compelling solutions and value propositions: Clear demonstrable experience in addressing specific customer needs and pain points, highlighting the business impact of relevant and available solutions
  • Deep understanding of the digital infrastructure landscape: This includes data centers, cloud computing, network solutions, security, and emerging technologies like IoT and AI
  • Awareness of market trends and competitor offerings: understands the industry disruptions, innovations, and the competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities
  • Knowledge of specific customer segments: Focus on industries undergoing rapid digital transformation, such as finance, banking and insurance, or public sector
  • A confident communicator, comfortable speaking and building relationships with managers, executives and peers, can generate that same enthusiasm in your customers
  • The role will suit a positive and energetic individual, a team player, self-motivated, results driven, with excellent communications and organizational skills.
