About the Health ServiceThis role will see you joining a large health service with an excellent reputation for delivering quality medical, surgical, and allied health treatment and care to a diverse population. The health service has strong research and education links with 2 large universities and is known for having excellent career development and training programs.About the roleThis role carries a broad and impactful range of responsibilities focused on the delivery and oversight of mental health services for older adults, both in inpatient and community settings. You will be instrumental in ensuring the provision of high-quality, patient-centred mental health care tailored to the unique needs of the older population.Key duties include providing strong clinical leadership and expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams, offering medical supervision and mentoring to junior staff, and contributing to the education and professional development of colleagues. You will also play an active role in shaping and supporting community-based mental health initiatives and projects aimed at improving access, continuity, and quality of care for older persons.Additionally, you will be involved in providing clinical advice and consultation across services, supporting integrated care through liaison with other healthcare providers, community organisations, and stakeholders involved in the continuum of care for older adults living with mental health conditions.Relocating to Australia?
