- Champion Woodside's safety culture in aviation operations.
- Ensure Woodside's aviation and travel related risks have appropriate and effective controls in place.
- Lead and document aviation audits, ensuring timely closure of actions.
- Serve as SME in aviation event reviews and incident investigations.
- Manage Technical Integrity changes and deviations relevant to aviation in accordance with the Integrity Management Standard.
- Provide after-hours technical support and participate in the Incident Management Team.
- Maintain and update Woodside Aviation standards and guidelines
- Advise on the application of aviation industry standards and regulations (CASA, ICAO, IOGP, CAP 437).
- Participate in aircraft operator tendering and approve acceptable operators.
- Monitor aviation service provider performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage in Aviation and Drone Communities of Practice and internal stakeholder forums.
- Represent Woodside with key external stakeholders, including; Aviation service providers, oil and gas Aviation Advisors, NOPSEMA, Safer Together, helicopter OEMs and aviation regulators as required.
- Deep knowledge of rotary wing aircraft performance and operations; fixed-wing experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of offshore helicopter operations and relevant regulations.
- Lead auditor experience with Quality auditing standards (ISO9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in Aviation Safety Management Systems
- Demonstrated success in managing external stakeholders.
- Technically competent with aviation-related digital systems.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in aviation, with a focus on offshore oil and gas environments.
- Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence (CPL(H)) or Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL(H))
