The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintaining service standards in our dining room by actively leading the team
- Delivering regular staff trainings for the front of house
- Conveying constant and constructive, one on one feedback to our employees
- Clear and regular communication with our Head Chef and Reservations Manager
- Inducting new employees to the venue
- Mentoring junior team members and facilitating their progression within the venue and beyond
- Maintaining the venue's presentation and standards at all times
For this position, it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
- Minimum Diploma qualification in Hospitality or similar field OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of qualifications;
- Able to efficiently manage multiple tasks within the demanding pace of a restaurant environment while upholding quality standards;
- Possess strong problem-solving skills to swiftly address and resolve various challenges, be it handling customer complaints, addressing kitchen mishaps, or managing staffing issues;
- At least 2 years of experience in managing venues of a similar calibre
