Community and Aged Care Services, Greater Newcastle Sector Community Nursing, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the team in a Permanent Full-Time position at Eastlakes Community Health Centre (Windale).Eastlakes Community Health Centre provides community nursing to clients in the East Lake Macquarie LGA. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic, person-centred care to clients and their families in their own homes.About the role
As an Enrolled Nurse in Community Nursing, you will provide evidence-based care that promotes positive health outcomes under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will work collaboratively with clients and the healthcare team to implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing care.This role is centred on building therapeutic and professional relationships with clients in their homes and contributing to a culture that reflects the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.About you
We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse who demonstrates:

  • Wound assessment and clinical management
  • Urinary catheter care and management
  • Palliative care support
  • Attributes and capabilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build respectful and professional relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to person-centred, culturally respectful, and safe care
  • Willingness to continue learning and developing in the community nursing environment
