We welcome the application of any person (regardless of age, background or gender) to compliment the wonderful care and attention we offer.Why volunteer?Working in Aged Care can be an extremely rewarding and valuable experience. While many residents might otherwise miss out on contact from people within the local community, volunteers provide this important link and offer both companionship and casual, friendly communication. Volunteers get to share in first-hand personal stories and experiences from our resident’s past while adding a new brightness to their present.Who should volunteer?Anyone. You don’t need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join in activities and an interest in having a chat.What Would I Be Doing?The most fundamental role of a volunteer is to provide companionship, so a priority is placed upon listening and talking to our residents.
