
Family and Relationship Services Practitioner

- Providing individual and group counselling using evidence-based, trauma-informed frameworks
- Supporting families affected by domestic and family violence, separation, and child protection matters
- Conducting intake, risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver holistic support
- Maintaining high-quality case notes, reports, and data for compliance and service improvement
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences (and eligible membership with AASW, APS, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of DFV, Child Protection, and Family Law legislation
- Proven counselling skills including family systems and brief solution-focused practice
- High-level communication, interpersonal and professional integrity
- Strong practice framework grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred care
- Current driver’s licence, Blue Card, and AFP check (or willingness to obtain)
