- Proactively manage a claims portfolio within legislative, self-insurance and business requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide injured team members with a high level of customer service and trusted advice regarding their claims
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in developing and implementing claim strategies to ensure timely and sustainable return to work
- Conduct claim reviews and case conferences as required
- Develop, coach and mentor team members on strategic claims management
- Significant experience working within a workers compensation/insurance environment
- Excellent knowledge of the current VIC Workers Compensation Legislation
- Experience in negotiating return to work and rehabilitation outcomes
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet agreed deadlines
- A genuine interest and passion to learn and develop new skills
- Tertiary qualification or training in allied health
- Knowledge of the current TAS or SA Workers Compensation Legislation
