Thursday Island Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC), under Torres and Cape HHS, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) with expertise in Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will provide specialist care and support to patients while working within the Maternal & Child Health unit. This is a rural and remote placement requiring adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Ophthalmology (essential)
- Experience in rural and remote settings (essential)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Ability to provide specialist care in Maternal & Child Health contexts
