The company and siteWith a global footprint of large mining contracts, this well-known and reputable mining contractor supports a wide range of mining principals to meet their goals. This role is at an UG hardrock mine in N.QLD

The role and dutiesYou will enjoy working in a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of mining equipment in the workshop. Your duties will include;-

Surface workshop maintenance duties - including problem solving, diagnostics, servicing, general repairs
Machinery - extensive range of fleet light vehicles on site

Roster & hours

7 day shifts, 7 night shifts, 14 off - 12 hour shifts
Fly to site on the morning of day 1, fly home after night shift on shift 14
FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville

Your valueYou will have come working as an Light vehicle mechanic in a heavy industry sector and have a desire to forward your skills in the UG mining industry.

Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel
Mining experience is highly desired or experience with heavy vehicles, civil or AG
Team player and a great attitude towards work
