
Junior Compliance Officer- 12 months FTC- Hybrid

- Working in an advisory, assurance or audit role, in the field of regulatory compliance (at least 2 years);
- Supporting risk assessments and advising internal stakeholders on remediation;
- Assisting with the preparation of high-quality compliance reporting for internal stakeholders; and
- Knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand Privacy regulation; and
- Experience performing compliance-focused Due Diligence on clients and/or suppliers.
- The provision of advice to the business on the reporting, investigation and remediation of identified compliance risks and issues;
- Supporting the practical implementation of new or updated Compliance-owned policies and standards;
- Maintaining and improving local processes, tools and templates to support day-to-day compliance (e.g. for regulatory record-keeping;
- Performing Third Party Risk Management and Client Due Diligence activities, for example, review of cases escalated by 1LOD colleagues; and
- Using Experian’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system, Archer, to maintain an organised and accurate system of records including details of the business’s regulatory obligations and the status of relevant regulatory changes).

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build partnerships across the business and act as a trusted advisor;
- Teamwork and an ability to collaborate with others, share knowledge and experience, and support colleagues in the pursuit of team goals;
- The ability to think commercially, taking full account of business goals and priorities when providing advice and recommending action; and
- Willingness and enthusiasm to take a hands-on approach where needed.
