This is an open Expression of Interest for a Casual Academic Unit of Study Coordinator role within the Discipline of Marketing.Specifically, opportunity exist in S2 2024 for a Coordinator MKTG6015 Digital and Social Media Marketing (a postgraduate unit of study in the Master of Commerce program)The role of a Unit Coordinator includes a minimum of 3-hrs of face to face teaching delivery made up of a lecture and a workshop each teaching week of semester; preparation of the unit timetable and the unit outline, lecture materials and delivery, tutorial materials and delivery; other teaching-related duties such as managing tutor/s; managing student enquiries; preparing and managing test/exams where applicable; managing final marks and reporting. It also includes at minimum 40 hours of marking and other unit administration which occurs outside of semester teaching weeks (eg. timetabling or student appeals).Casual rates for relevant teaching duties will be commensurate with the role being undertaken and will be communicated in detail in the schedule of work as part of the contract. Pay rates can be found within the University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement and will be applied.In order to meet , applicants must possess a qualification one level higher than the level of the teaching role or possess equivalent professional experience.ABOUT THE Discipline of MarketingThe Discipline of Marketing offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate units. Units offered at the undergraduate level are listed in the and at postgraduate level, in the .Hours of face to face delivery will depend on the final imetabled lectures and workshops/tutorials. Please note that lectures, workshops/tutorials are timetabled Monday to Friday between 8 am to 9 pm. A commitment to teach during semester dates as well as a commitment to complete additional related administration and marking hours prior, between and after the semester teaching weeks, is necessary.The key accountabilities and responsibilities will be:
UoS Coordinator duties, engaging with your tutor/s regularly, preparing materials to delivery in lectures and tutorials, preparing exam papers;
Engage constructively with students through the semester and provide relevant feedback to assessments
