We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleThe Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader supports a team of 5 in delivery of the activity program. People living in the Eastern Health residential aged care homes: Monda Lodge in Healesville and Murrenda Aged Care Home in Wantirna are the recipients of the program.The role holder leads the program, operational and management requirements whilst being a key member of the senior RAC Services management team. The program is well established and would benefit from an experienced person with Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications to support the team.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:
  • Experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator or Assistant
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Excellent coordination, delegation and prioritisation skills
  • Experienced in working with people who are diagnosed with dementia, cognitive decline and / or mental health conditions.
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification
  • Has 5 years' experience in an aged care or mental health environment
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the .
