Job Description:St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.ABOUT THE ROLE:St Vincent's Private Fitzroy campus are seeking highly experienced and team orientated general surgical Registered Nurses who have well developed clinical skills.The 7th floor at Fitzroy is a busy 31 bed medical/surgical unit specialising in Colorectal, Urology and General Surgery ward. We are passionate about providing excellence in health care and achieving exceptional outcomes for our patients. As part of our nursing team you will be pivotal in planning and implementing nursing care to a high standard. We are an inclusive team driven by a strong focus on continuous improvement with an emphasis on teamwork and customer service.ABOUT YOU:
As a Registered Nurse your skills and experience will include:
  • Authority to practice nursing with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ hospital experience.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care and teamwork.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
  • Dynamic, lateral thinker.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
