Build a Safety Culture, Not Just a Checklist.About the RoleOur client is looking for a leader who goes beyond the rulebook. They need a Safety Manager who understands the rhythm of live sites, builds trust with subcontractors, and sees safety as a shared responsibility, not just a list of tasks. This is your chance to shape a proactive, human-centered safety culture.
You’ll be a central figure in their growing team, working on high-impact projects in live environments like schools, hospitals, and community infrastructure. You'll bring clarity and calm to dynamic situations, acting as a visible and approachable presence on site.What You'll Be Doing

Lead with Impact: Take the lead on safety audits, site inspections, and compliance checks.
Be the Bridge: Liaise directly with trades and project teams to ensure workflows are safe and efficient. Working exclusively with subcontractors, so your ability to build genuine rapport is key.
Power the Strategy: Use HammerTech software to track safety metrics and provide crucial reporting.
Champion their Culture: Contribute to their positive team environment.
Drive Change: Embed WHS practices into every aspect of their daily site operations.

What You'll Bring to the Team
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, grounded, and ready to get to work.

You have a WHSE Safety Certification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in safety management on civil or commercial projects.
You have a strong background in audits, compliance, and live site coordination.
You are a natural communicator, able to build trust across diverse trades. Your ability to "read the room" and adapt your tone is your superpower.
You see yourself as a problem-solver and thrive in active, dynamic environments.
You're practical and down-to-earth. We're not looking for a Tier 1 pedigree; we're looking for a person who connects with people on the ground!
You are proficient with HammerTech software.
