Combining our deep technical expertise with the capabilities of our clients and partners, we respond to some of the most complex challenges facing our planet today.Who are we looking for?We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management group.At GHD, we have a strong and dedicated Project Management group, that is involved in supporting our clients in the planning and delivery of significant facilities and infrastructure projects.The WA Project Management (PM) team is involved in supporting our clients in the planning and delivery of significant facilities and infrastructure projects in Australia. We provide Project Management, Design Management and Contract Administration services on major capital works facilities projects including National Projects for the Department of Defence and infrastructure projects in the Indian Ocean Territories for both Defence and the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. In addition, we provide support to major projects, partnering with our internal stakeholders, in the transport, water, energy and environment sectors in WA.Working within our experienced Project Management Team, this position offers a great variety of projects and will see you involved in and assisting with:
  • Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) of a range of complex industrial and commercial building and infrastructure projects or programs
  • Liaising with and management of relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Building client relationships and conducting business development activities, including preparation of proposals
What you will bring to the team:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications & proven experience in PMCA to deliver successful outcomes
  • Understanding of project governance structures, construction methodologies and risk management
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ideally previous experience delivering PMCA (or Assistant PMCA) services for Defence projects or related industries within Western Australia
  • Industrial and commercial building and infrastructure projects or programs experience is essential
