You'll work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement tailored learning programs and interventions.Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Programs: You will develop and implement high-quality learning enrichment programs with a focus on numeracy for students.
  • Collaborate and Support: You'll collaborate with classroom teachers and the Learning Enrichment team to create modified learning materials and programs.
  • Create Individualised Plans: You will develop and maintain individual Learning Plans to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Liaise with Families: You'll liaise with families to provide clarity and confidence regarding their child's progress.
  • Provide Pastoral Care: You will provide a duty of care and foster the personal well-being of all students.
Essential Criteria:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Appropriate post-graduate qualifications in Learning Support or Special Education, along with a minimum of three years of experience working with students with diverse needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to deal respectfully and effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Personal Attributes: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, compassion and empathy for students with learning disabilities.
